Submission Guidelines

Paper Types Accepted

  • Original Research Articles: 6-12 pages presenting novel research findings
  • Review Papers: 8-15 pages providing comprehensive overviews of specific topics
  • Case Studies: 4-8 pages detailing practical applications
  • Short Communications: 3-5 pages for preliminary results or technical notes

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.

Include abstract (150-250 words), keywords (4-6), and appropriate sections.

Originality Requirements

Submissions must represent original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin software.

The International Journal on Sensors and Communication Technology (IJSCT) aims to establish itself as a premier platform for disseminating high-quality research at the intersection of sensor technologies and communication systems. IJSCT is a high-quality open access peer-reviewed research journal published by Le Celtique Publications

Our primary objective is to foster innovation and advancement in these critical fields by providing a rigorous peer-reviewed publication venue for researchers, engineers, and practitioners worldwide.

INTRODUCTION

Ensure your manuscript follows all formatting guidelines and includes all required sections.

Authors may submit a manuscript as a single Word or PDF file for peer review. Only after revision will the paper need to be formatted according to the journal’s publication requirements.

Types of Papers

The journal accepts the following submissions:

Short Communications

 1. Rapid reports of important findings.

 2. Maximum: 5000 words and 10 figures (about 5 pages).

Research Papers

 1. Present original research results.

 2. Maximum: 10,000 words and 15 figures (less than 25 pages).

Review Papers

 1. Summarize recent developments in an active research area.

 2. Maximum: 15,000 words and 250 figures (above 25 pages).

Commentary

 1. Comments on previously published articles.

 2. Must be submitted within 8 months of publication.

 3. Authors of the original paper may respond.

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

Before submission ensure:

 1. A corresponding author is identified with email and postal address.

 2. Required files uploaded:

  a. Manuscript with keywords

  b. Figures with captions

  c. Tables with titles and notes

  d. Supplementary material (if any)

 3. Figure and table citations match the files.

 4. Manuscript has been spell-checked and grammar-checked.

 5. All references cited correctly.

 6. Permission obtained for copyrighted material.

 7. Competing interest statement included.

 8. Rejected papers generally should be resubmitted unless invited.

ETHICS IN PUBLISHING

Authors must follow ethical publishing standards:

 1. The manuscript must not be submitted to any other publications multiple journals/Conferences simultaneously.

 2. The manuscript may be submitted to Le Celtique Publication’s journals and conferences simultaneously. But not multiple journals or multiple conferences of Le Celtique publications.

 3. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

 4. All co-authors must have significantly contributed to the work.

 5. All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research.

 6. Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.

 7. All submissions are checked for plagiarism. Maximum 20% similarity allowed. Read the policy guidelines for AI

 8. Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

Research Involving Humans or Animals

 1. Studies must follow recognized ethical standards and institutional approval.

 2. Human studies require informed consent, and privacy must be protected.

 3. Animal studies must comply with established experimental guidelines.

 4. The journal does not accept research using unethically sourced organs or tissues.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research. If none exist, this must also be stated.

USE OF GENERATIVE AI

AI tools may be used for tasks such as improving language or organizing content, but:

 1. Authors remain fully responsible for the manuscript.

 2. AI should not replace scientific judgement.

 3. Any AI use must be declared in the manuscript.

 4. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

SUBMISSION POLICIES

Submission confirms that:

 1. The work has not been published previously.

 2. It is not under review elsewhere.

 3. All authors approve submission.

Preprints may be shared and do not count as prior publication.

Authors should use inclusive and unbiased language.

AUTHORSHIP AND CONTRIBUTIONS

 1. Authors must clearly define contributions using standard roles such as conceptualization, analysis, methodology, writing, supervision, etc.

 2. Changes to authorship after submission are not allowed.

 3. All authors must provide valid institutional email addresses.

COPYRIGHT AND AUTHOR RIGHTS

 1. After acceptance authors sign a Journal Publishing Agreement or license.

 2. Permission must be obtained for any copyrighted material used in the article.

FUNDING AND OPEN ACCESS

 1. Authors should state funding sources and describe their role in the research.

 2. Information about open access options is available on the journal website.

LANGUAGE

Manuscripts must be written in clear English (American or British). Professional language editing services are available if needed.

 1. All submissions are completed online through the journal system.

 2. Files are converted into a PDF for peer review, and all communication with editors occurs electronically.

Figures and tables should appear close to the relevant text.

PEER REVIEW

The journal uses a double-blind review process:

 1. Editor evaluates suitability.

 2. Suitable papers are sent to at least two expert reviewers.

 3. The editor makes the final decision.

REVISED SUBMISSIONS

When revising a manuscript:

 1. Provide a marked version showing changes.

 2. Submit a clean final version.

 3. Provide an editable document file.

  Optional visual summary of the research.

2. Highlights

  Mandatory bullet points (3–5) summarizing key contributions.

3. Acknowledgements

  Placed before the references.

4. Funding Statement

  Specify financial support or state if none was received.

FIGURES, TABLES, AND EQUATIONS

 1. Use editable formats.

 2. Ensure captions clearly explain figures.

 3. Follow recommended resolution and file formats.

 4. Tables should avoid duplication of data already described in text.

REFERENCES

 1. References must be cited in the text and listed in numerical order.

 2. The journal accepts flexible formatting during submission, but essential details such as author names, title, year, and source must be included. DOIs are encouraged.

 3. Datasets, websites, and preprints may also be cited where relevant.

Article Withdrawal Charges

 1. A fee of USD 50 will be charged for articles withdrawn after the peer-review process has commenced.

 2. A fee of USD 75 will be charged for articles published and subsequently retracted. These charges compensate for the administrative and editorial resources already invested in the manuscript.
